Family Life and Hobbies

I am a 3rd Generation Italian American who was born and raised in Adams County.

I have been married to my incredible wife Pamela for 41 years.
-
I have three adult sons and five grandchildren that keep me active and young.

I enjoy raising pigs, cattle, chickens and honey bees.
-
I have been a small business owner in Adams County (Rocco's Family Hair Salon, Gene's Taekwondo, and Adcol Sales and Rental).
-
I enjoy spending time on the lake fishing in the mountains.

Community Partnerships

Worked closely with community mental health care providers to establish guidance for a mental health crisis / detox center in Adams County.

Work with CASA- Court Appointed Special Advocates to help ensure success for children.

Planned and hosted the Adams County Senior Fishing Festival for 24 years.

Support Operation Freebird to provide resources for families in need.
-
Collaborated with neighborhood and community groups for traffic enforcement and public safety.
-
Established the first Vivatrol program in Colorado in order to help inmates become independent from opioid addictions.
-
Appointed to the State of Colorado Cold Case Task Force.

Board member of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) and chair of the Crime Prevention, Intervention, and Re-entry Subcommittee
